My teaching philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children and create a community of learning where children's needs are met emotionally, cognitively, socially, and physically. I am passionate about early learning and teaching, especially enriching young minds through play and mindful experiences. I love seeing smiles on children’s faces when they learn something new. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and enjoying life with my family.

My teaching inspiration came as a very young child because my mother was a teacher, and now a retired teacher. I have been teaching early education since 2009, and I believe that teaching is about engaging the mind, and providing a safe and academic rich environment. Teaching is a rewarding experience, and I believe in patience, along with an undying passion for helping our children become successful.
